Valley of Eternity (Ripuk, Barun Valley, Nepal)
Ripuk is a local name for one of the places in Barun Valley where locals setup their temporary seasonal settlements.

this is Nyatapola, the highest temple in Nepal and one of the few 5 storey pagoda temples in the kathamndu valley.
during the Bhaktapur festival, small candles (actually small terracotta bowls filled with oil) are placed throughout the temple lighting it up with a fantastic glowing light...

On our way towards Machhapuchhre, my cousin takes a moment to take in the misty mountains of Nepal. We were beside a raging creek where we took a short break but continued on to MBC where we saw much more beautiful sights.
