Krishna Mandir
The evening of Krishna Janmasthami. Took the shots from a restaurant to the west of the temple.
The Colours of The Annapurnas
The glory of the Annapurna Himal stretches out above lush rhododendron forests in the Annapurna Conservation Area. From left to right, the snow-capped peaks of Macchapuchare (Fishtail Mountain), and Annapurnas IV and II reach up into the sky, tickling the jetstream and joining some of the earth's highest mountains.

Dreamtime
One final shot from Poon Hill as early morning clouds begin to roll over the summit and cast a veil of fog in front of Annapurna South (center) and Annapurna (far left).
Serendipitous note: The bird in the photo passed once in front of me as I was taking out my camera. It made a long, slow loop and then swooped down in front of me again after I was set up for the shot. How often does that happen?
Mourning Moon
This was a day before full moon over the sky of Kathmandu valley (Nepal) ....
and also the day my beloved GrandPa passed away :'(
In my childhood I was told that the moon is one of our passed away grandparents. We used to call the moon as 'Junphopa' meaning 'Moon GrandPa'.

Kanchenjunga Above the Clouds
Kanchenjunga (8586m) viewed from Sandakphu, looking towards Sikkim. The clear air is no doubt helped by the altitude - 3630m. Just around the corner (or over a small mound) you can also get a view of Everest, but the cloud wasn't as good in that direction and it is much further away.
