Pumori (or Pumo Ri) is a mountain in the Himalaya on the Nepal-Tibet border. Pumori lies just eight kilometres west of Mount Everest. Pumori, which means "Unmarried Daughter" in the Sherpa dialect, was named by George Mallory. Climbers sometimes refer to Pumori as "Everest's Daughter". "Wikipedia"

This is a good site for the Trek. Everyone I have ever met who trekked in Nepal has enjoyed it and the vast majority claim it to be the best travel experience they have ever had. This is a good site for the Trek.

Mountain Biking Nepal
This was taken during a mountain bike trip to Nepal. Trails are very steep, both up and down, and a good portion of our time was spent portaging the bikes. I saw a good opportunity to get this shot, so I ran ahead of Jim, whipped out my camera, turned around and fired off a couple of shots. I don't know what it is with me and level horizons, but obviously, this is way off.

Stream crossing
Siobhan had bandages on her blisters that we didn't want to get wet, so she got a lift over the stream (the Dukhu Khola, I guess). Just round the corner, we discovered a bridge that would have made this whole process much less fun...

More climbing...
Whilst our sleeping places weren't gaining much altitude, we could still go up and down up to 800 metres in one day. Thakur told us that last time he was through here, they had just burnt all the grass. It was a beautiful though exhausting climb up through the meadows this time. That is still the Myagdi Khola in the background.

Cloud in the Chhukhung Valley
A slow (and exhausting) ascent of Chhukhung Ri meant that we got to the top (5300m) late. The silver lining was the cloud.
Ama Dablam is on the near left, I think. The farther peak might be Thamserku.

Some of the porters, when they heard them but could not see them, hurried down the hillside in fear of witches!

Bandipur
If you drive up to Bandipur, at the top of the hill where the motor road ends, you will be greeted by a neighborhood lined with historic Newar houses. This is the main Bandipur Bazaar (Map). Modern, but with its traditional values still intact, it presents a potpourri of old houses, temples of great religious significance and historical architecture. This medieval-looking quarter is the heart of Bandipur. As with Newar towns elsewhere, Bandipur also boasts year-round festivals and a plethora of other cultural shows.
